SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A pedestrian in South Sacramento has died after being hit by a car.
Police inform CBS13 that round 4:15 p.m., a pedestrian was within the space of Fruitridge Street and South Watt Avenue once they have been hit by a Scion sedan that left the roadway. The crash aftermath reveals the sedan off the highway and partially pushed by a chainlink fence.

The motive force remained on the scene and cooperated with the police. It’s unknown if medication or alcohol contributed to the crash.
The identification of the sufferer has not been launched.
